What Toys Are Best for a 1 Year Old at Christmas?
For one year olds, I particularly look for toys that encourage:

- Movement and balance
- Problem solving
- Early imaginative play
- Open-ended play
But more than anything, I like simple toys that leave something for the child to do.
They don't need flashing lights, batteries and endless buttons.
